San Diego PROTECTS Seminar - Wrap-Up Print E-mail

The National Law Center for Children and Families wrapped up its NLC PROTECTS Seminar in San Diego last week. The seminar took place on May 20th and 21st at the Al Bahr Shrine Center in San Diego, California. 

 

The two day event was a great success which attracted law enforcement officers, prosecutors and probation and parole officers from various jurisdictions in California and two other states. The training seminar included classes on Human Trafficking, Basic Mobile Forensics, Sex Offender Management, Child Pornography Prosecution and other topics related to child exploitation crimes.

 

Richard Whidden, the Executive Director at the National Law Center was pleased with the outcome of this event: “I want to thank our speakers, attendees and partners for making San Diego a memorable conference.  The content that was delivered in San Diego was some of the best in our program's history”.

NLC PROTECTS IN TAMPA – A SUCCESS
The National Law Center for Children and Families held its 20th PROTECTS seminar on March 17th and 18th in Tampa, Florida. Law enforcement officers as well as probation and parole officers attended this two day event which took place at the Corporate Training Center - Hillsborough Community College. Attendees who came from various Florida jurisdictions received training on sex offender management, basic computer/ internet forensics and other child exploitation issues.
