Registration is open for the NLC PROTECTS Iowa Seminar
to be held September 1 and 2, 2009. The seminar will be held at the Iowa Army National
Guard Freedom
Center at Camp
Dodge in Johnston, Iowa just outside of
Des Moines, Iowa.
The NLC brings its 18th NLC PROTECTS Seminar to Iowa for the first time. Presented in partnership with the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce the National Law Center is preparing to bring in national and local speakers for this late summer training. The Series has
trained over 1600 law enforcement professionals, prosecutors and others on defending
children from Child Exploitation.
Feedback from attendees at our National Seminar in Orlando include comments that
"the speakers were wonderful!They made
the subject matter very understandable without dumbing it down" and the seminar as a whole
was "excellent...with a wide range of courses and topics" and provided a "great
opportunity to network and share information."
