What is the NLC PROTECTS Seminar Series? |

The NLC PROTECTS Seminar Series is an effort to train law enforcement officers and prosecutors on the challenges involved in working on child sexual exploitation cases. To date, over 1,000 law enforcement professionals have been trained at 14 seminars across the country.
The seminars feature experts on such topics as:
- Child pornography investigation and prosecution
- Internet, computer, and digital forensics
- Online enticement
- Human trafficking
- Child witness interviews
- Coping techniques for professionals
- Sex offender management at the local level
- Juvenile prostitution
- Interviewing child exploitation suspects
