The National Law
Center for Children and
Families (NLC) is a nonprofit law center formed in 1991 and has since served as
an agent of change and education in the area of child sexual
exploitation. Over the past two years we have trained over 1000 law enforcement officers, prosecutors, probation and parole officers and others in prosecuting and investigating child sexual exploitation crimes. In January 2009, we host our first National Conference and this e-newsletter is designed to keep you informed about our organization and programs.

Survey
The NLC is always interested in hearing your feedback on issues related to child sexual exploitation crimes. Please take a moment and visit our Web site to cast your vote in a new poll regarding electronic forensics hardware and software. We are very interested in learning whether you feel your agency has the necessary equipment to conduct effective investigations of all child exploitation cases in your jurisdictions.
Your responses will guide improvements to our training and seminar series and will help further the NLC's understanding of the field work that is essential to protecting children from harm. Feel free to send us an email with more detail about your hardware and software needs if you would like to expand upon your response to the poll question. This information is invaluable as we work to provide state and local law enforcement and prosecutors with the requisite knowledge and tools to achieve more arrests and convictions for child predators.
Thank you for your work defending children across the nation.
