The NLC was featured in guest blogger Adam Palmer's Weblog at
washingtonpost.com.
Adam Palmer is an attorney and an expert in Internet governance, cyber security
and e-commerce, as well as a tireless warrior fighting to protect kids from
Internet exploitation. As a guest blogger for the Washington Post, Palmer will
address his daily work which includes teaching prosecutorial strategies for convicting child
predators, particularly producers and consumers of child pornography.
In his initial post, Palmer singled out the NLC for its leadership in
supporting and educating prosecutors and law enforcement about this oft-ignored subject.

The presentation, "Show Me the Money: a Guide to the Grant Application," will provide participants with detailed information on searching for funding opportunities and creating a winning grant proposal.

Law Enforcement professionals from the U.S. Marshal's Office for the Western District of Virginia, Virginia State Police, Giles County Sheriff's Office, and Pearisburg Police Department were recognized as Child Defender Award recipients on July 9, 2008. The ceremony was held at the Federal Court House in Roanoke, Virginia.
