NLC PROTECTS 12: a Bayou Success Print E-mail

The 12th NLC PROTECTS seminar was held in Baton Rouge at the Louisiana State Police Training Academy.

 A total of 59 law enforcement professionals from across the Bayou State attended the 3-day seminar that was co-sponsored by the Louisiana State Police.  

"We were  proud to present this training to the prosecutors and law enforcment of Louisiana. We also are very appreciatve of the support of the Louisiana State Police and their Training Academy for making this seminar a success," said Richard Whidden, NLC Executive Director.

National Law Center Trains 1,000 Investigators and Prosecutors

Alexandria, VA – The NLC PROTECTS Seminar Series reached a milestone in May 2008 – the successful training of 1,000 law enforcements officers and prosecutors.  At thirteen seminars across the country, representatives of state, local, and federal agencies have learned best practices for investigating and prosecuting child sexual exploitation cases from renowned experts.
