NLC Chief named to FBI Citizen's Academy Print E-mail

j0305906.jpgThe Washington DC Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has named NLC Executive Director Richard Whidden to the 13th Citizen's Academy. This eight week academy will review various types of crimes the FBI investigates including crimes against children and allows community leaders to learn more about the Bureau's mission, standards and procedures.

"It is an honor to be accepted into the FBI's Citizen's Academy and I look forward to learning more about the Bureau's enforcement efforts that defend children and our nation every day. " said Richard Whidden. "This opportunity provides a great chance to better understand enforcement efforts and help the NLC continue to serve child defenders in law enforcement across the nation."
