Co-sponsored by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey, the seminar was well received.  Comments received from attendees include:

  • I would recommend [this training] to new people beginning to investigate child exploitation crimes.
  • As a supervisor, I will indeed send people to future NLC seminars.
  • Best overall training I've attended; great job gathering speakers with unbelievable experience and knowledge.

Attendees heard from a number of local speakers including Raymond Massi, Law Enforcement Coordinator for the Southern Vicinages of New Jersey; James Plousis, U.S. Marshal; Gordon Samartino, Detective Sergeant for the New Jersey State Police; and Thomas Larson, Matthew Kurzawa, and Paul Choinski from the U.S. Probation Office in New Jersey.

The next NLC PROTECTS Seminar will take place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 12-14, 2008.
