Seminar Agenda
The NLC PROTECTS National Seminar will feature 60 breakout sessions presented by nationally renowned law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and child advocates. The Florida Bar has approved this training for up to 18.0 general hours of Continuing Legal Education for prosecutors in the state.

About the National Law Center and NLC PROTECTS
The National Law Center for Children and Families is a non-profit law center based in Alexandria, Virginia. Since 1991, the NLC has served as an agent of change and education in the area of child sexual exploitation. The NLC PROTECTS Seminar Series is a continuation of this effort.

Cooperation with New York Attorney General
acknowledges private sector working to curtail illegal content
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - June 16, 2008 - The National Law Center for Children and Families
(NLC), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to combating child sexual
exploitation, commended three Internet service providers (ISPs) for an
agreement to purge their servers of child pornography newsgroups and Web sites.
In addition to
restricting customer access to the illegal material, the ISPs - Verizon, Time
Warner Cable and Sprint - agreed to donate more than $1 million to be used for
additional anti-child pornography efforts within the attorney general's office and
through nonprofit organizations.
